Meditation 101

What is Meditation?

Meditation is a daily practice of making the monkey mind sit down quietly and stopping the chatter within, shutting noise of the outside world so you can connect with yourself, so you can listen to your inner voice, the inner guidance system that is within all of us.

How does one actually do it?

Its about observing the thoughts without judgement and self loathing and misidentifying yourself from your thoughts and emotions not out of ignorance but simply observing them daily for 5-20 minutes

Why should I consider doing it? And bring it to my daily practice like any ritual

Just like training your body in the gym, you are training your brain and taming it in a way , anytime you see distraction or monkey mind wandering off, you just bring your attention back to the Breath (PRANA) and just keep your attention on the breath.

Do it as a daily practice even for just 5 minutes a day and your life will significantly change as you become calmer, present in any situation.

Benefits (Psychological, Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual)

Mentally you will be calm, psychologically you will be aware of your thoughts an behaviours, you will develop emotional intelligence and spiritually you will feel that inner calmness and the inner vast dimension, that is who you really are in your essence
